REV. DR. EMMETT POWERS
There are so many words to describe a pastor, simple words like compassionate, integrity, shepherd, and charismatic. But It is much harder to find words to describe a pastor who is able to lead worship services and teach Bible lessons that give his listeners a deep spiritual connection to God so that they feel His love for them through the well-structured and clear message spoken by the pastor. We are so fortunate to have Rev. Dr. Emmett Powers and invite you to worship with us on any Sunday morning.
We are aware COVID is still lingering in the world, and for those who feel a need for extra protection, we recommend a face covering.
Our services are broadcast live on Facebook each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. at FFB Kirk of the Hills.

Session Mission Committee
Lenten Mission: February 22 through April 9, 2023 is ONE GREAT HOUR OF SHARING special offering. Join with Presbyterians worldwide in sharing God’s love with our neighbors-in-need around the world by providing relief from natural disasters, food for the hungry, and support for the poor and oppressed.
Monthly Missions: Don't forget to drop off food items in the containers in the foyer of the church! The Missions Committee has been busy collecting canned and boxed food to supply the small food pantry boxes located around the community, donate to the Shirley School pantry, and offer food boxes to anyone coming to the church in need.
Wear and Share: The store was started in 1995 by an Ecumenical Group brought together by Rev. Glen Nagel of the Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills. It continues to operate under the direction of a board of directors made up of two members from each of the sponsoring churches, Faith Lutheran, FFB United Methodist, FFB Baptist, St. Francis of Assis, and Presbyterian Kirk of the Hills. Nancy Mueller and Ingram Philips are Wear and Share board members from the Kirk. See the rest of the story in the March Newsletter...under the Newsletter tab above.

Presbyterian Women
Bible Study
Join us in the fellowship hall at 1:00 p.m. on April 11 for What My Grandmothers Taught Me: Learning from the Women in Matthew’s Genealogy of Jesus by Merryl Blair. This month it is all about Ruth and Royal Love. Her story invites us to think about how we treat each other, and to look for the godliness in our everyday relationships. The lesson will be presented by Nancy Mueller.
PW Monthly Meeting
Missions: It’s time to bring clothing size 0 – 36 months and diapers for Healthy Families Arkansas - Ozark Mountains in Clinton to the April meeting. They will be delivered in May. Healthy Families Arkansas gives one-on-one support to pregnant women and families, particularly those considered high risk, and necessary resources and skills to raise children who are healthy and ready to learn.
In April, don't forget the Cents-Ability and Least Coin programs. Cents-Ability is the Presbyterian program to alleviate hunger and its causes, and the Fellowship of the Least Coin is for grants to special projects of evangelism and service.
The Smile.Amazon.com program where you could give to PW at no cost to you through purchases at Amazon has been discontinued after 15 years of supporting nonprofit organizations across the country.
There will be a salad luncheon - bring a salad to share - in the fellowship hall at 12:00 noon.
Meeting: Monthly meeting will be on April 11 in the fellowship hall at 2:00 p.m.
